While we were growing up,
all our experiences were recorded in the brain in the form
of Eidetic images. These tell our life story as it happened,
with all the relevant emotional and physical feelings and
ideas that we had while the events were unfolding. They
shape the way we see ourselves now, and our world view.

The Eidetic Parents
Test (EPT), as developed and refined by Dr. Akhter Ahsen,
combines the qualities of a clinical test, a psychiatric
interview, and a self -analysis procedure in a single clinical
mode. The EPT provides a spontaneous setting in which developmental
facts emerge and evolve in the most natural manner. The
eidetic parents' images appear to wield enormous control
over our minds as long as we remain unconscious of them
and do not successfully grow out of their developmental
influence. The EPT portrays the parents in their true developmental
light, brings thematic issues quickly to the surface, and
enables us to experientially recognize the critical link
between the difficulties in our developmental past and our
problems of today.

Successful recovery
from alcohol and drug abuse, according to a leading expert,
depends on hope, absolution and new sources of self -esteem.
The core of Ahsen's treatment is based on the reinstatement
of hope and enthusiasm through the recovery of the "natural
high" found in the Eidetic.

| Dr.
Ahsen proposes a new approach to learning disability based on
our special inner gift of Eidetic imagery. Eidetics locate the
cause of the problem, work it through and naturally opens up
areas of enjoyable learning again. At the some time, the process
empowers the person with a deep experience of his or her own
unique talents and skills. |
Accident Trauma and
Post-Traumatic Stress Syndrome
|
| The
Eidetic approach to trauma concentrates directly on the symptom
itself and traces its origin to important past events. By deciphering
the negative experience, the underlying capacity for a positive
experience is brought to the forefront of the mind, revealing
the point of harmony and integration. |
